Who We Are

TD was born in 1946 as a brainchild of visionary individuals in a little warehouse on Nagle Street in downtown Dallas. Since then, TD has developed into one of America’s premier mechanical construction and facility service companies. TD is changing the face of the industry through sustainable, state-of-the-art innovations that are a result of putting customers first.

We deeply understand the importance of partnership. With more than 65 years of experience under our belt, you can count on TD to be your “go to” partner for all your mechanical construction needs – everything from mission-critical solutions to standardized services. TD is equipped to handle any size project because we have unmatched, powerful resources: the people, processes, technology and manufacturing you need to get the job done.

With every project, long-term perspectives are held up as our guiding principle. TD provides expert client advisors who offer LifeCycle planning solutions – your teammates who are in it for the long haul. To this end, we unfailingly go above and beyond to be responsive, offering expedient resolutions.

While TD possesses excellence and strength in many areas, there’s one thing that sets us apart from our competitors: our people. TD professionals are responsible, dedicated Partners, not just employees. Our corporate culture is based upon the Servant Leader philosophy, which means we do everything with your best interests in mind.

Employee-Owned for Your Benefit

TD is employee-owned to align our employees (we call them Partners) with your needs. We think long-term. We are motivated to a lifetime of success with customers. Our actions and approach to every project, every engagement, are driven by our desire to exceed our customers' expectations.

Innovation Means Superior Results

At TD, there’s one thing we deliver above everything else – superior results. This means giving you innovative, sustainable turnkey solutions and a vast bandwidth of products and services that will effectively optimize and maintain your facility. Results mean approaching every project with inventive cost- and energy-efficient solutions in mind – lowering construction costs through optimal system design and performance. Delivering your projects on time, and on budget.

Diversity

Valuing differences has always been one of TD’s basic beliefs. And that belief is practiced among our Partners, customers, suppliers and vendors, and within our community. TD understands that the diversity among us is our greatest strength and is critical to our continued success. Jack Lowe, Sr., our founder, played an integral part in desegregating the Dallas school system in the early 1960s. He brought that philosophy into TD and our values, and our Board of Directors reflects the face of diversity.

We recognize that the path to diversity and inclusion needs to be supported and measured for results. The TD Diversity Council is a representative group of volunteers from all levels of the organization. They help communicate, educate, celebrate and measure our diversity efforts. Our CEO, Harold MacDowell, continuously strives for representation and inclusion at all levels of the organization. TD recognizes that diversity and inclusion are not only the right things to do, but are strategic pillars to achieving our success and growth for the future.
