Mechanical Services and BIM Technology
Located on a one-acre tract in a dense urban setting, the three-story, 63,000 square-foot Baylor Medical Center specialty hospital will house a full-service X-Ray, CT Scan, 1.5T MRI, three emergency treatment rooms, 24 patient rooms, seven operating rooms and various office spaces.
The project is fast-tracked based on an eight month schedule from award to completion. The facility will also seek LEED® certification. Brasfield & Gorrie, the general contractor, engaged TDIndustries for the mechanical services.
TDIndustries will utilize BIM technology to spatially coordinate the different systems in the building to reduce conflicts and change orders.
