Central Utility Plant Installation

TDIndustries was engaged to build and bring online a new central utility plant (CUP), capable of being expanded, to serve the hospital’s current and future growth.

The TD team was responsible for:
• Developing a design for high efficiency, well-monitored production of heating and cooling using existing hospital distribution systems within each hospital section.
• Maintaining access for emergency vehicles during construction.
• Minimizing down time or shutdowns of heating and cooling system mains to the hospital.
• Identifying back-ups for all critical construction events to prevent a catastrophe.
• Ensuring that TD’s costs would be within budget based on the design
