Reliable Airport Maintenance Program

Houston Airport System (HAS) sought TDIndustries to be a partner with the experience and knowledge to improve its Critical Operating Plant to ensure that the mechanical systems at all three major airports under HAS’s supervision were efficiently maintained and managed.

To help HAS transform their organization, TD utilized its proven approach called RAMP – Reliable Airport Maintenance Program. TDIndustries’ RAMP approach has enabled the Houston Airport System to achieve significant savings, eliminate downtime and efficiently manage its Critical Operating Plant with a well-trained workforce.

Results to date include:

• First-year savings of $750,000 in energy costs, to actual savings in 2011 of $1,787,656.00 in the Central Utility Plant alone.
• Zero downtime in plant operations when Hurricane Ike hit in 2008
