Texas Children’s Hospital West Campus is a $220 million facility located on 55 acres west of Houston and is the first suburban community hospital built exclusively for children.  The 515,007 square-foot, five story facility houses the area’s only 24/7 pediatric emergency room, two operating rooms, 48 immediate and acute patient beds, advanced imaging services, neurophysiology sleep lab, pathology lab, a full-scale pharmacy and a central utility plant.  Construction began in 2008 and was completed in 2010.
