To ensure energy conservation and enviromental stewardship, the University of Texas at Arlington taps TD's expertise.

The University of Texas at Arlington is the second largest member of the University of Texas System. A comprehensive research facility, it is also a known leader in energy conservation. UT Arlington had the opportunity to access funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act , but had less than 60 days to develop a program that would develop new energy savings for the institution.

TD’s engineering design team, construction and services groups went to work to implement the following:

• Continuous Commissioning® of thermal energy plant operations and building HVAC systems
• Replacement of existing VAV boxes
• Upgrades to AHU’s with high efficiency motors
• Replacement of two thermal energy plant chillers
• Upgrades to campus building roofs, and more
