Tara joined TD in 2014 as Corporate HR Manager, before moving into the roles of Senior Manager and Director of HR. During her time with TD, Tara has been instrumental in elevating the People team and has accomplished many important people initiatives toward the success of TD.
As a highly trusted advisor to her fellow Partners (TD employees), Tara helps many develop in their roles. She is passionate about coaching TD Partners through opportunities and challenges, while providing valuable mentoring to support continued career growth and development.
Tara earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Development from Oakland University in Michigan, and she holds her SPHR certification (Senior Professional in Human Resources). She is also a certified Master Trainer in Crucial Conversations and holds an Employment Law Certification.
Tara is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and DallasHR, HR Mastermind Peer Advisory Board Member at CHRO Partners, and previous founding member of the TEXO Women's Group. Past chair for the TD Partner Committee.
