High School Internships

TDIndustries established its High School Internship Program to provide future tradespeople an early hands-on understanding of TD, its culture and career opportunities.

We have developed a strategy to utilize qualified entry-level talent to strengthen and balance the skilled, trade professional workforce. We are taking the foundation of work-based learning programs and refining it to meet today’s labor regulations, safety protocols, educational requirements and tomorrow’s generational expectations.

The Construction and Technology Education (CTE) Approach

TDIndustries has found a renewable source of talent within local high schools to fill open skilled-trade positions. With CTE programs, we have found motivated young men and women who are gaining the specific knowledge and skills training needed to be productive in the workforce. We aim to become an industry influencer in the identification, recruitment and retention of early career trades talent.

We proactively build and maintain trusting relationships with local CTE Programs, offering construction trades, manufacturing and ag mechanics career pathways.
