TDIndustries and utiliVisor Announce Extension to Strategic Alliance

TDIndustries, Inc. (TD) and utiliVisor are pleased to announce an additional seven-year extension to the existing 10-year strategic alliance.

As the smart building industry continues to evolve, building owners and operators are looking for a robust team that can bring technological advancements and in-house expertise to support their staff in achieving ultra-efficient operations, accurate billing, effective utilization of capital and compliance with stricter governmental regulations. The TD and utiliVisor partnership has a proven track record of assisting clients in meeting and exceeding these goals by providing turn-key engineered solutions, a real-time web-based platform, and an Operations Center to ensure successful outcomes.

"TDIndustries has been one of utiliVisor’s valued partners for more than twelve years. utiliVisor has successfully complemented TD’s expertise in mechanical construction and facilities operations using utiliVisor’s continuous energy oversight monitoring service," said utiliVisor Chief Operating Officer Tim Angerame. "We are excited to continue the long-term relationship with TD’s renewal of utiliVisor’s License agreement for another seven years."

Engineers from both brands work with plant operators to set up performance thresholds within the utiliVisor platform that match the equipment manufacturer’s design performance. This ensures the systems operate at intended full and part load efficiencies. The goal is to integrate an energy monitoring system for the existing steam, hot water and chiller plants, and sometimes air-side systems to analyze“real-time” performance and help develop strategies to improve operation and efficiency. The partnership provides a real-time, web-based observation platform that monitors, tracks, and stores utility usage and cost.

"We are excited to continue our long term partnership with utiliVisor. Our Smart Analytics offering has saved our Customers millions of dollars since the partnership began, and with the progression of analytics and the pressure to take waste out of systems, I would expect us to continue that trend in all of our markets," said TDIndustries Vice President of Smart Building Services, Chuck Swallow. "The plant oversight and submetering platforms are unmatched in the industry, but it’s the expertise of the utiliVisor team in partnership with TD that we believe sets us apart. The next seven years will be transformational in our industry and we are thrilled to have a valued partner like utiliVisor to help solve our Customer's most complex issues."
