DALLAS — May 29, 2026 — During her 12-year tenure with TDIndustries (TD), Lauren Turner has grown from intern to president of Building Services, a journey that earned her recognition among Dallas Business Journal’s 2026 40 Under 40.
The Dallas Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 award honors rising leaders under the age of 40 who are making meaningful contributions in their industries and local communities across North Texas. Honorees are chosen through independent editorial review, with selections based entirely on their merits, achievements and contributions to their organizations and local communities.
“Lauren’s journey is a strong example of what is possible at TD,” said Chief People Officer Steve Cunningham. “She leads with humility, invests in people and consistently represents the values that define our company. Her leadership reflects a strong balance of operational excellence and genuine care for people, which makes this recognition both meaningful and well-earned.”
Turner’s career at TD reflects sustained impact, growth and a deep commitment to excellence. Lauren’s leadership has helped grow TDIndustries into a formidable player in the Mechanical Construction and Building Services industry, offering cutting edge solutions and quality workmanship.
After first joining as an intern, Lauren returned to the organization in 2014 as a process improvement specialist and quickly became a trusted leader in applying Lean methodology to complex operational challenges. Her ability to identify inefficiencies, align teams and drive meaningful change led to her rapid advancement and cross-functional expertise.
Over the past decade, Turner obtained her MBA from the University of Texas and advanced through a series of leadership roles across manufacturing and service operations, consistently delivering results while building high-performing teams. In 2024, she was promoted to president of Building Services, where she now leads a large cross-section of TD’s workforce across multiple regions.
Beyond her role at TD, Turner is committed to serving her community and developing future leaders. She serves as board chair for Metrocrest Services, supporting programs that provide food, housing and employment resources to individuals, families and seniors. She also mentors students and young professionals at Coppell schools, TEXO, The Construction Association, Construction Education Foundation, and her alma mater, Texas A&M University.
Whether guiding teams through complex challenges or giving back to her community, Lauren exemplifies values-driven leadership.
The 2026 class of 40 Under 40 was formally honored at an event on Thursday, May 28, at the Thompson Hotel Dallas.
