HOUSTON –TDIndustries has selected Randee Herrin, a longtime leader in its Houston office, to oversee its combined Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) and TDManufacturing groups.
TD’s VDC team leverages building models to streamline all phases of construction from estimating through manufacture and installation. TDManufacturing supports TD’s prefabrication and modularization efforts.
"I am excited for Randee and the opportunity we have with such a strong strategic mind working toward our corporate objectives and beyond," CEO Harold MacDowell said. "In today’s construction organizations, VDC and Manufacturing departments are critical components that can help drive new products and services. By consolidating these two departments under one leader, TD will be better positioned to progress toward the development of an innovation-oriented culture that drives change throughout our business."
Outside TD, Herrin had previously served on the board of Women Contractors Association, and Associated Builders and Contractors of Houston. She also led TD’s initial effort to bring women into the trades through our partnership with The United Way of Houston’s THRIVE program. Currently, Randee serves on PlanGrid’s Customer Advisory Board; the Texas Tech University College of Architecture Design Leadership Alliance Dean's Circle; and the Associated General Contractors Executive Roundtable 2 in Houston.
