We also understand military experience is one of the most valuable teachers and cultivates the foundation of a promising career.
TD sees the innate value of hiring some of the 200,000 service members transitioning to civilian life each year. We actively help these veterans translate their military expertise to their occupation and career path. We encourage veterans to apply for open positions and/or shadow other transitioning military personnel that are making an impact at TD every day.
TDIndustries is a proud participant of the Hiring Our Heroes initiative spearheaded by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. The national campaign aims to hire 500,000 veterans nationwide over the next 5 years. We’re joining more than 2,000 companies across the country to help veterans find jobs and launch their careers after their service.
TDIndustries continues to demonstrate support for our veteran community by helping our country address the issue of military spouse unemployment and underemployment. We offer genuine solutions for military spouses pursuing meaningful career opportunities.
TD understands one of the greatest challenges for the 200,000 service members transitioning home each year, and their spouses, is starting a new career. Our Partners work together with Veterati to share their expertise to give personalized advice, job search tips and coaching to help our military veterans overcome that challenge.
TDIndustries supports a variety of events for military transitioning, veterans and military spouses each year. We strive to increase TD’s internal veteran and military spouse population.
As Operations Manager for the Process Solutions business unit, Logan Wallis knows a thing or two about logistics, operations and supporting hundreds of team members. Prior to TDIndustries, Logan honed his skills with the Army, beginning his career in the Army ROTC program at Texas Christian University (TCU). He entered active duty less than a week after earning an Entrepreneurial Management degree from the Neeley School of Business and a Commission as a Second Lieutenant Army Officer. Rising through the ranks, he was promoted quickly to Captain and served in many leadership roles, including Battalion Logistics Officer and an Operations Officer. When speaking to Logan, he is straightforward and objective, almost downplaying his accolades. In reality, Logan is a highly accomplished, successful veteran, Army Reservist and TD Partner.
