TDIndustries Wins AGC-TBB Outstanding Construction Award for Children’s ER Renovation in Dallas

DALLAS (July 11, 2025) — TDIndustries, a premier facilities services and mechanical construction firm with locations across the United States, was awarded a first place Outstanding Construction Award by Associated General Contractors – Texas Building Branch (AGC-TBB) for its renovation of Children’s Medical Center Emergency Department in Dallas.

AGC-Texas Building Branch (AGC-TBB) is a statewide trade association representing the commercial construction industry. Outstanding Construction Awards recognize exceptional construction projects completed by AGC members in Texas. Award applicants are evaluated based on innovation, use of unique building techniques, team adaptability and timely project completion.

Over five years — and despite challenges like the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and extreme weather in early 2021— TD delivered an exceptional Emergency Room renovation benefiting tens of thousands of children in Texas.

“This project demanded an extraordinary level of coordination and precision,” said Ali Franklin, Dallas Project Manager at TDIndustries. “From navigating legacy infrastructure in a 1960s-era facility to executing phased installations in an active emergency department, our team leaned heavily on BIM modeling, lean scheduling and off-peak shift work to minimize disruption. I’m especially proud that we did it all without disruption in care for young patients and their families.”
