ENR Ranks TD No. 32 on its 2019 Top 600 Specialty Contractors List

DALLAS – ENR released its national 2019 Top 600 Specialty Contractors list, and TDIndustries is ranked No. 32 overall.

TDIndustries (TD), a mechanical construction and facility services company, posted a $631 million revenue total in 2018. That figure makes it the sixth-highest revenue of all mechanical firms in the nation. In Texas, only Houston-based Comfort Systems USA ($1.6 billion) was higher.

TD was one of seven Texas-based contractors in the top 50. Schuff Steel, located in Phoenix, checked in at No. 35. TD’s overall placement puts it just ahead of Deer Park, Texas-based Universal Plant Services ($618 million) and just behind Medford, Massachusetts-based Bond Brothers ($641 million).

The accompanying article discusses the industry perception of the current financial environment. While forecasts are starting to turn south after a decade of growth, 71 percent reported increased revenue in 2018. As a group, overall revenue increased 9 percent from 2017.
