FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

TDIndustries Recognized by UT System for HUB Participation
TD wins award for utilizing MWBEs on Clements University Hospital

Dallas, Texas – TDIndustries (TD) was one of eight companies to receive the 2015 HUB (Historically Underutilized Business) Special Recognition Award from The University of Texas (UT) System. This award honored TD for achieving 33% Minority and Women Business Enterprise (MWBE) participation on the UT Southwestern William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital project, as well as other architecture and contracting firms for meeting the requirement. The Office of Historically Underutilized Business Development held their 2015 HUB Conference and Awards luncheon on May 7, 2015.

Not only did TD exceed the 26.1% MWBE participation requirement but also assisted General Contractor of the Clement University Hospital project, Hunt Construction, in achieving their goal as well.

TD consistently meets or exceeds HUB participation requirements on construction projects. Working with HUBs is part of the TD culture. Supporting HUBs encourages the construction industry to be more diverse while helping grow small businesses regionally.
