Houston Office Hosts Grand Opening

TDPartners in the Houston region are impacting the local economy and community in a big way. In early June, they opened their doors to host a grand opening of the new facility on 8525 Derrington Road.

Robert W. “Bill” Gilmer, Ph.D., director of the Institute for Regional Forecasting at the University of Houston’s College of Business shared his insights on the economic outlook for Houston. Dr. Gilmer focused a significant portion to the state of the construction industry in Houston as well.

The Houston facility is home to construction, service, and facility management operations. It includes many amenities for the hundreds of Partners that call Derrington Road their home office, including tech-enabled meeting rooms, multiple collaboration spaces, basketball and volleyball courts, gym facility, wellness room, walking trails, and a spacious outdoor patio.

The open house allowed more than 80 customers and guests the chance to see TD’s open office concept in a modern-meets-rustic design. To close the evening, TD presented a $3,000 check to the PTSD Foundation of American Camp Hope. Rather than dole out goodie bags, TDPartners opted to support a neighboring organization that provides transitional housing for veterans diagnosed with PTSD. Program Directors and US Navy Corpsmen, Brandon Hartzburg and Ben Greene, accepted the funds on behalf of Camp Hope.

Ultimately, the new office has been a wonderful new home for our Gulf Coast Partners. "We are so excited to have a building designed specifically for our needs that makes us more efficient," says Graham Moore, President of TD's Houston operations. "The new building provides training facilities for our field and office TDPartners and allows for much greater collaboration between the field and office, which will be a direct benefit to our customers."
