TDIndustries Earns ASA Platinum Award for Recovery and Wellness Center

DALLAS – The North Texas chapter of the American Subcontractors Association honored TD with a Platinum Award on Thursday night for TD's work on the Texas Health Resources Recovery and Wellness Center.

TD earned the award in the $4.5-$8 million category. TDPartners attended the 40^th annual awards night, and Senior Project Manager Richard Bain accepted the award for the TD team.

Located in Mansfield, the recovery and wellness center takes a wellness approach to voluntary, long-term treatment for adults and adolescents suffering from addiction. It is the first stand-alone, long-term addiction treatment center for Texas Health. The two-story, 77,000 square-foot campus consists of four guest wings, treatment and meeting rooms, a café, full kitchen and a lobby area.

TDIndustries was contracted in a prominent role to provide design/build services as the Engineer of Record from the beginning of the project, through construction and final installation of all mechanical and plumbing equipment. TD's innovative and creative solutions and working closely with THR, Beck and other key stakeholders, utilizing an integrated project delivery method contributed to a highly successful project.

TD has earned three awards for the center: It also earned a TEXO Distinguished Building Award in April and an AGC Outstanding Construction Award also in June.
